Ok, the fever has gotten to me. I'm looking at getting a boat in the near future. In particular I've been looking at the Sea-Ray 19 footers with closed bow.

Anybody have any experiences with taking a small boat such as 19 footer out to Catalina or the other nearby islands?

Also, does anybody have any experience with the boats in the 19' size with cutty cabin/closed bow and how they compare to one another?

We were somewhat put-off by all the boat dealers with the exception of the Sea-Ray dealer who didn't try to sell us a boat as we walked in the door, but actually wanted to find out what our needs and desires were. He showed us the boats features and such, not trying to make sure I drove the Bronco out of there that instant with a new boat draging along behind it.

The boat will be primarily operated on a lake and the woman won't go for a 24-30 foot cruiser since she won't let me buy a new truck to pull it with. :( So the smaller size boats are what I'm looking at.

Thanks!

Glenn
