Some of the local GUE folk frown upon the casual utterance of the word "stroke". When i took the fundamentals course with John Walker, there was a small disucssion of PR, flaming, epithets such as "stroke" and bagging on PADI, Sport Chalet and the like.
I can say that a large number of the GUR/DIR folks i know distance themselves from the whole "elitist" B.S.
Of course, in the absence of hotheads, see how far this thread has progressed? Unlike the Seahunt/MHK or the GLnSD-whomever pissing/trolling contests, this is actually informative and worthwhile to follow! Good Job TDI diver, maddiver, catfish and others.
