Many of you know Rod Francis, who over the years has been an instructor and repair tech for us, but most importantly a close friend and an integral part of the Reef Seekers family.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Rod's wife of many years, Mary Sue, who lost her valiant struggle against cancer last week. To say that Mary Sue & Rod made an interesting couple would be an understatement. Many of us have fond memories of their Las Vegas wedding, literally in one of the quickie wedding chapels, between seminars at a DEMA show. And many of you knew Mary Sue from going out on boats with Rod (especially those of you whose memories go back to the See Vue) where Mary Sue would come along and just hang out and help.

Needless to say, she will be missed greatly.

A memorial service for Mary Sue will be held this coming Saturday, September 1, at 11AM, at the Shepherd of the Hills, 19700 Renaldi Street, in Porter Ranch (near Granada Hills). You may also feel free to contact Rod directly at 818/469-2519. That's his cell phone and he says he's usually got it with him and on.

For those of you who know Rod &/or Mary Sue, we hope you'll take time to give Rod and his children whatever support you can in this time of grief.

- Ken Kurtis & Bill Wright, and the Reef Seekers staff
