unless you are doing the deep stuff go with the Mako. Don't roll the dice on Ebay with the teknas or DV-100's (which are essentially makos). If you do the deep stuff the Gavin is the only scooter in my opinion (but then I haven't even looked at silent submersions). Mako's do have an inherent flaw in one of the molds (I understand they have 4 molds at oceanic and one is warped) If you go this route I will let you know how to tell. You should be able to pick one up from a dealer ~1800 if you negotiate awhile. I think 2400 is suggested retail but 2250 is what i see marked many times. Pin your triggers, avoid metal blades, and replace 'trailer plugs' inside with higher gauge connectors. Then put the hammer down
