It's a very low traffic list.
One of the lists that CAD is ranting about isn't DIR (FAR from it), but a great group of guys and good source of Bay Area info is indeed BA_Diving. URL is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ba_diving
The guys there are very helpful, and actually very friendly. It's a great resource, because of the varied opinions held. Ask a question, get ten different answers.
The list he's really ranting about is SFBay_DIR, URL: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SFbay_DIR.
Again, a great group of guys. It's a list for people interested in DIR. Not for those who want to flame it.
