Not that it matters CAD, but anyone to whom you've ever sent an email, even via hotmail, has your IP address. So it isn't some top secret thing, really. But if you'll look at my original post, I recommended first using the last two octets.

By using the last two octets, we can seriously cut down the junk. Anyone who's going to go to enough trouble to try and beat the "last two octet" system is going to beat the entire address system anyway, since the effort differential to circumvent is trivial. There'll always be someone out there trying to beat the system.

Not that I care, but I almost always post from 12.33.5.200, and either Netscape 4.7 or Konqueror, OS=Linux.
