bending d-rings

Larry, some divers choose to bend the shoulder d-rings slightly so they can grab them easier. Typically they will lay flat along the webbing making if dificult for some to grab, typically those who wear thicker glove.

The other d-rings, such as on the crotch and left hip, are typically placed in locations where the webbing bends more, making it easier to grab them, but the shoulder d-rings don't sit on a bend unless you have a huge chest.


Simply put the d-ring in a vice and smack it alittle. Don't go beyond 40 deg. I don't need to bend mine at all. Some d-ring come pre-bent.
