I disagree that it is the same problem with any other wing.. To the extent that you had a leak of any real size you would be precluded from filling up the bladder and not having it leak.. With any non-bungee bladder you wouldn't have the bands restricting when you inflated. Moreoever, with a non-bungee bladder you would have the option of surfacing leak side down and thus having sufficent air in the non leak side to allow inflation. You loose that very important opotion when using bungee wings...
