odds are the deep man who was OOA was also negative from the start of the emergency.
when you become narked, the tendancy is to inadvertently let yourself become negative also. there is a good chance he also accidentally dumped all his air trying to fill his B/C too while narked at 120 fsw. rank speculation of course.
