DIR buddies supposedly, do not go around neglecting their buddies while sightseeing. One of the things that impressed me when diving /w/ MHK, JW for the first time was that if i signalled with my light, they were actually there, and responded! If i wanted to know how much air they had left, they answered promptly, which was a marked and quite appreciated contrast with my usual "same-ocean" buddies. Basically, when diving DIr, the team members..buddies..whatever so not let themselves become separated, nor do they stray so far as to be out of range in an emergency. On the rather rare occasions that i actually do dive DIR /w/ similar-minded partners, i am always amazed at what good, attentive buddies they actually are.
