The stinking rig is so overweight that the monster bladder can hardly float it at the surface. It takes both of us to wrestle it back out of the water when we're finished diving...
Most of the guys at the club/shop I dive with use the bungies. My OW instructor did, both DM's did, etc. I tried the rig myself, but I didn't like the way it felt. I can't imagine wearing one now after spending time in my current setup...
