Don't trust your life on equipment that someone else has already disgarded.. We just had a fatality last weekend that was a result of a malfunctioning regulator..
If you can't afford to do this sport correctly then take up golf...
Sorry if that sounds harsh, but this kind of advise should NOT be sugar coated...
Moreover, warranties on equipment generally are only applicable to the original purchasor..
