For anyone even remotely interested in the principles and practices of DIR and the Global Underwater Explorers, this program will answer once and for all why it's a holistic system that demands absolute adherence to "doing it their way", no ifs, ands, or buts. Penetrating 19,000 feet and 300 feet deep into labyrinthine cave systems on rebreathers requiring 6 to 10 hours of stage decompression is beyond technical diving. It's the outer space of inner space. Question DIR as it might apply to routine sport diving, but NOT for what it was originally intended.
