Chris,
We have recently sold a number of the new style Halycon wings
(about 8 in the last month) with few exceptions most of the people who
have purchased them are not happy tying to use them without an STA.
Most say the bands are diffiecult to get through the slots on the back plate and
the system does not feel as stable.
I have not tried the new wing yet but I will have one here for me by Friday and will
be taking it to Maui with me next week.
Understand that I have nothing bad to say about Halycon products, we have very few problems
with any of the Halycon gear we sell.
