The viz in Lake Michigan has cleared up considerably thanks to those nasty little zebra mussels.
I was up in the northern end earlier this year & you could see dang near 60', something unheard of 10 years ago.
Wrecks stay in great condition, even after over 100 years. You can still get fresh tar on your hands from the oakum hull caulking.
