Ok lets see, Hundreds. maybe thousands of people, many of whom are widely respected divers, know Backplates are more stable and are comfortable but HE goes with one dude ten years back that "tried one once" and had a bad back who said he wasn't comfortable as some kind of rationale for not trying it himself.
