I have two G250s and one has "graphite" on it (perfect octo), another (newer) does not. My guess is that they used to build them of something and at some point in time they switched to that graphite/fiberglass. Advertisement selss stuff, so they put "graphite" on new models. Once they discountinued old stuff, graphite wasn't necessary anymore.
Wild guess on my side :). Both breathe and feel same way.
