I was shocked last night as I was returning from Vancouver and found myself walking down the airplane aisle last night and like a vision from the past I ran into an old friend who used to be crew on the Great Escape.. For anyone that remebers our favorite Canadian crew member Ian, it was a great surprise to get seated next to him on the flight.. He is now working in the commercial dive indsutry and and was on his way to Mexico.. He had a 5 hour layover in LAX so I kidnapped him and made a few calls and next we knew we were at 22nd Street landing, like old times, and Tim joined us along with Terry, Troy, Bret and Tanya.. Tina was behind the bar, we kept them open late [ again ;-)] and caught up on old times...
What a great surprise to end a great weekend..
Just thought I'd pass along a hello from Ian who tells me that he misses the gang and the passengers from the Great Escape and he wanted everyone to know that..
