which disk belongs in there and the one employee had put the nut in with 2240 on it AND the matching disk (I assume because all 3 blew)! The nut on a Sherwood 5000 is NOT stamped with 2240 and these were, I guess they had put the wrong nut and disk in the bottles during VIP?
The stamped number on the exterior SHOULD be the one that came with your tank and should indicate which disk is inside.
To be honest I actually had no idea what the little nut was and was curious why it said 2240 when I was having the disks replaced (again!)so I asked. There was a different person in the dept. and he told me they were the wrong disks. Fact is I STILL don't know what the actual disk difference is. I trust in the stamp on the nut....I will investigate further now Thanks!
