There is no way around the fact that many of skills that
GUE/DIR tries to teach are dangerous to the student.
And in fact given the relative lack of experience of most DIR/GUE instructors
the whole programm may be dangerous.
The attitude of DIR divers is NOT good for the dive industry
Bottom line DIR/GUE is a failing marketing program for Halcyon equipment, the only
reason we have not heard of deaths among the DIR crowd YET is that there are so few
people who fall for the BS..........
