No criticism was taken, but I think that clearly there was misunderstanding that I'm gonna pin on John. The issue was not about a dive briefing or how gear was rigged, and that misunderstnding should not stand. The funny thing is, what was it about? That was what I wrote John about posting. How do you describe those events, causes and prevention in an accident report? The regulator fell off.
As an aside, a diver told me about decending to the bottom at about 70 feet and suddenly getting a mouth full of water. The mouth piece was still in his mouth, but had come loose from the regultor. He started to breath off the regulator with no problem and proceeded to swim up... At about 40 feet, he met his tie wrap slowly spinning down towards the bottom.
Enjoy, seahunt
