I do agree. Lover's cove is great! However, I live 15 minutes from the Channel Islands harbor (closest place to get to Anacapa), and on a good day, I can make it to Anacapa in less than 30 minutes! Catalina is great, but I would have to drive to San Pedro or Long Beach, then about an hour or so boat ride. Plus, there is something quite 'captivating' about Anacapa. May be it's the Arch Rock, or the overal island formation.... I don't know.... But to me, it's a magical place, both above, and below the water.
