I've often seen this as a common misconception. I have Cyklons (as well as the manual - thanks to Bob). I checked into the design before buying my reg.
Parts were difficult to get last year and not every shop has the correct tools to work on them. I take mine to a friend who has worked on them for over 15 years.
The IP is high and hose cost is too high. I priced out a 5 ft hose at $165 last year.
