Bob,
I am glad to hear your experience is different.
I assure you that I am not understating any of my experience.
There were some changes but not many and many did get through the
security withour tickets or boarding passes.
As I said different airports and airlines seem to have different requirments or
interpretations of the requlations. Also we flew on the second day after the "restart" of
the airlines could be that some of the security people were not up to speed yet.
I did notice when we returned to LAX on Sunday the 23rd there were a lot more police
and customs people there than there was when we left.
Anyway those were my experiences for what its worth.
I will be flying to New York next week for business so I'll get to se any changes that happen
in the mean time.
