on both sides of the planet. The pistol-grip lobster light is a pain in the ass no matter what the conditions are. Either i'm holding the $%^#$&@ thing in my hand for an hour, or it's dangling around on a D-ring getting me even more pissed off. I'm thinking that Santa Claus will drop a cannister light down the chimney this year or early into the next.

As far as ditching the weight, i was under the impression that i could always drop the inexpensive lead on my left side first rather than the expensive light on my right, thereby making it really remote that i'd ever have to actually hit the panic button and ditch the light itself.
