Yes I have at least a BOW from an accredited agency. Actually they just called it SCUBA Diver back then. Lets' see I have cards from L.A.County, NASDS, NAUI, and PADI. I've taken many classes over the last quarter century, and I think I can sift the wheat from the chaff with the best of them.
While I tend to agree with you about how the tendancy of DIR people trying to tell us how we should dive, I was simply pointing out that just picjing on them without saying why your way is equal or better for the given circumstances is just harrassment.
And if you knew me or my posts here, you would know that I do not dive DIR. My gear is strictly rec and I do things that are not acceptable by many agency standards.
And I am less impressed by a low NAUI number than by recent work.
