Yes Correct procedure for a first stage or tank neck oring failure would be to isolate and leaving you with the one remaining tank. However, one should best utilize the escaping gas volume by breathing down the depressurizing tank (even for that min or so that it would be depressurizing) That way gives a little extra margin of begining the turn and closing the distance to the exit/surface.
