Dive Lights???

I am looking at dive lights and here is my question?

what power (wattage) should i be looking for?
i was looking at the UK C8 i will mostly be diving above 100 ft but who know in the future i may go deeper. Is 12 watts a good enough power?

What about the UK HID Cannon?
