So Michael, a question or so that I didn't think to ask you on the boat.
Those scooters are interesting. They are look big, expensive and like a
bunch of work, but they do look fun and must make a diver think. In a
way, they open up a part of diving almost as much as your use of gasses
to go deep. For me, it's a matter of in a wide open place like Cortes
with good vis, motored cruising could be amazing. In that vis, I sort
of visulize sort of bouncing from one pinnacle to the next
I'm curious. When you are out scootering around are you particularly
trying to cover a lot of territory. Are you stopping a lot, only at
real interesting spots, cruising at at lower speed, etc.?
I guess I'm curious what a plot on a map of the dive would look like. I
know something about what my plot can be swimming, that is distance and
area visited, but I have to wonder what you could do on a scooter. Since
you use less air with a scooter than swimming, I would expect (guess) the
batterys to be the limit... or is that not so?
Enjoy the diving, seahunt
