I'm a bit confused here. Do you have any training or experience in the open ocean beyond the basic open water class? Are the 4 dives you mentioned related to taking an AOW class, or do you still need to take that? In any case, it sounds like the thing for you to do is dive, dive, dive, then dive some more. Then, and only then, if you're still interested in additional training, take a rescue class first!
