I had previously posted that Andrew Georgitis, training director for GUE, will be offering a free GUE Fundamentals class for local shop owners and instructors. As I previously noted our belief is that once you gain an understanding and appreciation for the GUE classes it may make it easier to adopt a GUE mindset. To that end Andrew is willing to forgo his fee and fly down from Seattle at his expense to provide this class.
The class will be the weekend of 12/7,8,9 with the Friday evening session being held at Scuba Toys in Cypress and the Saturday and Sunday in water sessions at Casino Point. The Friday evening session will require that you bring your gear and you will need the earliest boat over to Casino Point for Saturday morning and a late evening boat back Sunday evening. You will be responsible for your own boat fare and hotel as the tution will be free of charge.
The people that signed up for the originally scheduled class will be given the first opportunity to sign up for this class and we will take up to 10 instructors and/or dive shop owners..
