It's not that unheard of. Im my younger days I would trapse bewteen my favorite shore dive sites in Malibu to the local shops for fills with my steel 72 and my Trail90. Back then you could ride on the street without a helmet, and my mask was the best at keeping the sand flies and bees out of my face. I saw a couple in Florida a few years ago going down 1A1 in Key West with a modified makeshift trailer hooked onto his Gold Wing pulling 4 aluminum tanks plus their gear bags.
