Yeah they can be filled to 3500 and are on a daily basis. Actually I have filled thousands of doubles during my employment at Ginnie Springs where it isn't unusual during a hot summer day to fill 75-80 sets of doubles and three times as many singles. In fact 12 years ago in the only ginnie accident a steel 72 was culprit and it was only partially filled....one in a string of many around the country/world and provided us with the 'bay window' in the shop. Interesting how I have seen and filled several thousand sets of lp steel 104/95 etc to 3500 and never had an incident (and it cannot be done you say) see earlier post on engineering specs. I can tell you I'd be much more afraid of that 72 or 80 filled to rated pressure than 104 to 3500. Or maybe I'm just lucky right?
