Agreed that shoting a lift bag requires practice.
Any new skill does before you need to use it when your life depends on it.
It was first covered in my IANTD deep air class in 94.
However I practiced the skill on many times on five seperate dives before I had to use it.
Shooting a bag with another type of spool is a new skill, that should be practiced before it is used for real.
However, a new class???
