I took the GUE Fundamentals course and I would recommend it. The class was great and should be incorporated into more mainstream training agencies ciriculum(sp). GUE instructors are also all instructors from other training agencies and have to do a certain number of personal dives each year or they lose thier instructor c-cards from GUE. I think that combined with a the holisitic approach to diving is refreshing change from all the other courses that I have taken. Plus, we did more dive planning and safety drills than my Rescue and AOW courses to the point where sharing air is automatic and less stressful.
