I've also heard that if you soak a towel in sea water and wrap the bugs in the soaked towel they'll stay alive for at least a day, maybe 2. To store wrap them in plastic wrap and then in foil, then a put them in a freezer bag, then store in your freezer. I've used both techniques with success.
