Karl,

Do I read what you are saying correctly??? If a diver is using a jacket style BC and is wearing 26 lbs of lead and then converts to a SS BP are you suggesting that the SS BP will merely shift the center of gravity and that the diver should still use 26 lbs???? I would tell the diver to drop 6 lbs off the belt..

As to your notion of how we weight ourselves, you are correct that we weight ourselves so that we can have an empty tank at 20', everyone should use that as the goal.. Anymore is simply unnecessary weight..
