I posted this a couple of days ago, but it might have gotten lost in the thread. I want to post this again because I'm genuinely interested in the answer. So here goes nothing....
If I had never mentioned the word "DIR", but had only talked about taking a really great class (bootcamp for diving, if you will) - one that really emphasised good bouyancy control while staying off the bottom, task loading under stress, OOA drills, and decompression theory and how it relates (or doesn't relate) to the body in the real world - would you have been so quick to dismiss it?
Think about it. Answer honestly.
