I think that if I had surfaced with 300 or even 200 PSI and told him WHY, he certainly wouldn't have penalized me. And while we're playing the hindsight game, I really do wish I had spent a few more minutes at 15 fsw. As Michael said, it would have been a bandaid, but better that than nothing.
