I realize that this was written tongue-in-cheek but let's be VERY clear about this for some who may be reading this thread who are newer divers.
The statement TDI wrote is flat out wrong. You CAN embolize (and kill yourself) when holding your breath and ascending and, theoretically, can do it from a depth as shallow as 4-feet.
NEWVER hold your breath while ascending. Period.
