I personally think it's a bad taste marketing, just to get some extra money from commision. I believe DAN is one of those rare things all divers agree on and benefit from, and every agency should STRIVE to support DAN by definition.

For those who don't know: DAN is a non-profit. And they spend all the money to maintain 24/7 medical hotline for us, to aid hyperbaric chambers in popular dive destinations and for various research on diving safety. Every buck they get is well spent.

I'm not claiming Vincencia&Buckly is a bad firm. They just do it for money, so whatever you pay, it's probably going to be spent for Mr Vincencia new car or Mrs Buckly kitchen remodelling. Wouldn't you rather want it invested in chamber at Belize?
