Just a quick follow up:
1) Apparently Dr. Sipsey himself had doubts as to whether the symptoms were related to DCI or some other factor. Otherwise he would not have provided Marta with alternative causation theories. And as for the fact that they treated her hyperbarically being evidence that she was bent -- I'm sure you of all people are aware that the prevailing approach is to provide treatment even if there is only a suspicion of DCI.
2) I know you would prefer tri-mix, but I'm just curious -- knowing what we know of Marta's dive, are you saying she should have been better off on 32%? Is that safety margin on the NDL worth the offset of exceeding the recommended MOD for 32% as determined by GUE/DIR standards (given the fact that it was still within the 1.6 PPO max that used to be taught by some agencies)? This is not trying to put you on the spot, I really am curious as to your position.
Thanks,
SLANG
