As a member of the Crew, let me first say thanks for the wonderful post! I applaud your frankness and openness in all of your posts related to your "ride" in "Big Blue" and possible contributing factors or ways to avoid/prevent future incidents.
As many have posted, open discussion of any incident can help the community immensely. However, the diving community is a small one, and will never be of one mind on ANY subject... c'est la vie. My personal opinion is that the mind is like a parachute... it only works when it's open.
