To be fair to Ken, I just wanted to point out that his policy against Nitrox did not directly contribute to my decision to dive on air. I always dive air because I'm not Nitrox certified. However, that will soon change. As soon as practical, I will sign up for a Nitrox class. In the mean time, I plan to keep my dives limited to 100' or less, keep my ascents to 30 ft per minute, incorporate deep stops, and increase my safety stops to 5 minutes when air permits.

Will Ken's policy prevent me from diving with his shop in the future? It's a possibility. If I have to choose between my safety and his policy, I don't think his policy has a chance.
