Sea lions are like dogs and seals are like cats. Sea lions are gregarious and playful. Seals are watchful and methodical.
Seals have didgets on their forefins and swim primarily with their back fins. Sea lions swim primarily with their forefins. Sea lions are much better at moving around on the land. Seals have to undulate their bodies in order to move around on land. They are both delightful creatures and we are fortunate to have them in OUR waters!
