I think it's time to make a policy stand. State that you're only going to cut identities that have no redeeming value (glnsd comes to mind), or never, or whenever you get ticked off. And stick to it.
Lately you've appeared more prone to firing the first shot. And once one of you has, neither will yield the last word. And neither will concede a single point (Mike may be more guilty there). Maybe a 3 reply limit is in order, like in poker? Ken is right - I tune out the battle by the 2 round.
