I was cleaning up a big ab for dinner with the in laws and I had to wonder. If a person were to put abalone trimmings on some particular place on a reef and then look there later for lobster, would that violate any F&G laws? This is of course strictly hypothetical, since I would never do such a thing, but I was curious.
