What good is the card? I had a diver this weekend that wanted to go on his first night dive. The DM on the boat came to me and asked if he could. I asked back he's certified right, yes, then what is the problem. There was a DM on the boat last week who could swim, left his bungee on, while trying to get up. Was a complete cluster F*** and yet still has a DM card.
Sorry rambling. My question is if a person has a certification card should they be able to dive say Farnsworth. If not, why not? They are a certified diver. The log book is not a good guide either. I have seen many divers had buddies, while diving alone, ect.
