I have had my c-card and log book checked several times. None of which here in Calif. I made a dive on the Gordo bank in Cabo several years ago and could not have gone on the dive had I not had deep diving experence period. The boat captains, owners and DM do a great job here in Calif. I just think more should be done for safty reasons.
