I am aware that AOW has the potential to be a complete waste of time, as does any course. I think this problem has to do with who you choose to take it from. The problem with your AOW course was not NAUI or the course itself, but rather Sport Chalet. I see you changed your method of choosing instructors after that, which resulted in two worthwhile courses.
